Expo TV - get paid to do reviews

So, a while back, I discovered this site Expo TV.

It is a video review site. Two reasons I love it:

1. I love to see the reviews of other people BEFORE I buy something!
2. I love to do reviews and get "paid" for doing them!

Easy! Pick a product, review it, earn points, spend points on cool things like Starbucks Gift Cards. I have earned more than $100 in gift cards...and they add up fast! I am waiting on 2 to come in as we speak!

So, here's a link to join ..give it a shot! And, you can be my friend on Expo!!

Making Memories Slice......

Remember this little beauty....well, she is sick!

Not sure what happened, but I would say it is a technical difficulty!

She just can't cut straight. It's really quite sad!

But, YAY for Making Memories, and for them having superb customer service!!!

I called in, we did a little bit of Slice trouble shooting, and they told me to send it right in, and if they could not figure it out, they would send out a new one right away!

Now, that is quaility, I tell ya!!

Yes, I will miss my cute little pink Slice, but don't worry, we will be reunited again soon!! And, I will go slice-cuttin-crazy!

Thing 1, Thing 2, cupcakes for you!

First off, let me tell you this is NOT my intellectual property! My mom's friend Denise sent me a picture of some of these little cuties that she made for her child's class!!!

But, regardless, I will claim this as my ever-so-cute-I-am-the-best-mom-in-the-world creation!!!

So, so, crazy easy to make!

Chap insisted that we make these using Red Velvet Cake. (interjection) I am sad to say that I am 34 years old, and JUST THIS YEAR realized that Red Velvet Cake is just chocolate cake...turned red! duh! That's why I love it so much!

I digress!

So, bake the cake according to directions. Top with white icing. I used solid red cupcake papers.

I took a sheet of scrapbook paper (actually a sheet I did not like, and used the back!). Then I just stamped the words Thing 1 and Thing 2....made a circle and cut them out!

I am sure some of you techies could make a pdf file, and if you do...will you send it to me!

Anyways, then, I just hot glued the Thing 1 & 2 circles onto the paper. (sure wish I already had these HOT GLUE HELPERS!)

Top with some wild sprouts of blue cotton candy...and tada!!!

Now, look at all of these cute THINGS waiting for their hair...I will add the hair just before taking them to his class. If I add it now, it will all shrivel up...ask me how I know?!

So, how cute are they!!!

I will make them again,
I will make them, times 10.
I will make them from a box.
I will make their hair blue locks.
I will make them, yes indeed.
I will make them...kids to feed :)

Happy Dr Seuss Day to you!!

Jesus and the road...

Sunday, what a beautiful day that was. The weather. The sunshine.

*Have you ever had that kind of a day, when every where you turn it seems like the world is against you? Like you can't do anything right, and everyone just says the wrong thing, some mean to...some don't even know. But, regardless, it's enough to just get you in a bad mood?!

Well, before even noon...that was the kind of day I was having. Scott was so funny....he recognized it quickly...and just let me "do my thing".

So, I put my tennis shoes and my praise music on...and I hit the road. Literally.

Mile after mile, I listened, it sunk in. Every song. Every shuffle.

Jesus is the only one that won't let me down. He won't be mean to me. He won't do anything to make a bad day worse. He just won't.

The road is always constant. It is right there, under my feet, every single time I step out.

So, at about mile 4...Scott brought me a bottle of water...so sweet. But, I thought then, even him. It's NOT fair to put that kind of pressure on him. He is going to let me down, just like I let him down..but he is there for me, to lift me up when I need him. But, he is human.

I guess the crazy part is, 10 miles later...I was still running. And thankful!

But, back to Jesus and the road.
Always true.
Always constant.

And the best part is, I can have them both at the same time!

So, next time you see me running, hand in the air...I am probably not waving....but praising Him...for He is good.
